🚨 Hat trick alert! 🚨
In high school hockey action over the weekend, Jacob lit up the scoreboard with 4 goals (a Hat Trick +1!), while Jonah netted a hat trick of his own with 3 goals! Colby added one to the tally, making it an intense battle.
Despite their effort, the team fell just short in a 9-8 thriller against Digby. What a game! 🏒🔥

Last night, the Monarchs dominated on home ice, delivering an 11-4 victory over Barrington!
Colton MacDonald and Jacob Diggins each netted hat tricks! Adding to the win were goals from Rory Coleman-King, Ben Wagstaff, Colby Winger, Madex den Haan, and Maddox Saunders.

It's been a busy Holiday Season for the Monarchs!
The Annual Boxing Day "Grad Games" saw the boys take on the Ancients and tied 6-6. If only they'd been allowed to finish the game in OT, they're sure they would have had them! 😉
Next, the Monarch Boys headed to Kentville to play in the Fred Kelly Tournament, taking on NKEC, WK, and Horton. Though they didn't advance, they played some great games!
Goal Scorers were Jacob Diggins (with 3 goals), Madex den Haan (with 2 goals), Ben Wagstaff, Rory Coleman-King, Jonah Banks, Lucas Johnston, Jayden Tibbo, and Parker Jackson!
Plenty of assists by all!

Team Announcement:
You'll notice some new coaches on the bench going forward!
Steve, Maryanne, Les, and Mark have resigned their positions with the team. This was a tough decision made with careful consideration and does not reflect on the players or the parents. They wish the team continued success both on and off the ice and want to thank the parents for the tremendous support they have been shown.
That said, we welcome new Head Coach Guy King, Assistant Coach Luke den Haan, and Team Manager Colleen Coleman-King.
