Is looking for a Class 1 Truck Driver

$30.00 an hour

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting product leaving Merritt, BC to Adams Lake, BC / Grand Forks, BC and back to Merritt while maintaining compliance with safety regulations. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, utilizing both driving skills and equipment operation expertise.

Tasks:

Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations efficiently and safety
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Prior experience operating freight trucks in a commercial setting
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various conditions. This role is vital for ensuring smooth flow of goods within our supply chain. We value safety, reliability, and professionalism in our drivers, offering opportunities for growth within our organization
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Must be able to level load at mill

Class 1 driver’s license
Clean driver’s abstract is preferred
