A fun and educational week (for me!) cheering on Amanda Usselman and her lovely Lusitano, Capitan and Rachel Buliziuk and her Andulsian, As Incognitoso at the Prairie West Summer Extravaganza Working Equitation show. They both did so well in this new to them sport! Amanda coming from an eventing background and Rachel from dressage, it was awesome to see how this sport makes a fun common ground for people coming from various English and Western disciplines. We were also fortunate to watch the Masters and have a literal Masterclass in the sport from , what a treat to watch not only in the ring but in the schooling and warm ups as he prepared his horse, the suppleness, strength and rideabilty of BelloXXIII was impressive to watch! I was hoping to get out to ride in the mountains with the boys, but the weather and timing did not quite coordinate, though we managed some hill work and some sunset views!
