A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for Victor Lai’s Super 1000 Celebration Party yesterday. The event was filled with excitement, pride, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
We were honoured to celebrate Victor’s historic achievement as the first Canadian ever to win a BWF Super 1000 title. Seeing so many athletes, parents, coaches, community leaders, and friends come together made the occasion even more special.
A special thank you to our coaching team, whose dedication and hard work have helped shape so many athletes over the years.

A young boy who started his badminton journey at Mandarin.
A dream that took years of dedication, sacrifice, and hard work.
Today, Victor Lai returns home as the 2026 Indonesia Open Super 1000 Champion and the first Canadian in history to win a BWF Super 1000 title. 🏆
This achievement belongs not only to Victor, but also to everyone who has supported him along the way - his family, Coach Chen Kang, Coach Cathy & all coaches, teammates, and the entire badminton community.
We are incredibly proud to have been part of Victor’s journey and to witness this historic moment for Canadian badminton.
