🌊 PROJECT UPDATE – THE REEF IS COMING TO LIFE! 🐠
After 1 year of planning and 6 months of hard work, we’re proud to share another major milestone in this incredible reef aquarium project at Dr. Jerry Leung Medical Club.
Here’s what has been completed:
✅ Custom stand completed
✅ Lighting system installed and illuminated
✅ Custom rockscape finished
✅ Sand bed added
✅ Dual sump system fully plumbed and operational
✅ Closed-loop circulation system running
✅ Overflow system installed
✅ Filled with saltwater
✅ Refugium established and thriving
✅ Tank fully cycled and ready for livestock
The life support system has been thoroughly tested and fine-tuned, and the aquarium is now ready for its first residents.
🐟 Next week, approximately 300 professionally quarantined fish will be carefully introduced into the system. Every fish has completed quarantine to ensure the healthiest possible start for this thriving reef ecosystem.
This custom 3,000-gallon (11,350+ litre) living reef is being built as a centerpiece for the Dr. Jerry Leung Medical Club, where nature, wellness, and exceptional design come together to create a truly unique experience.
