💜We are so beyond proud of DPA’s fist ever completion of ballet exams! These dancers worked so hard and it all paid off with their successful completion of exams yesterday! 👏🏻⭐️A huge thank you to the wonderful Ms. Thomas and assistant Ms. Jasmine for all your hard work, knowledge, passion and love!! This would not be possible without you! 😘

👊🏼Why Ballet Exams Matter & How to Register!🙌🏻

Ballet exams are about so much more than earning a certificate. They are a celebration of dedication, discipline, growth, and confidence. Every exercise practiced, every correction applied, and every challenge overcome helps dancers develop not only their technique but also valuable life skills such as perseverance, focus, and resilience.
Exams give dancers a goal to work toward, an opportunity to showcase their progress, and a chance to experience the pride that comes from achieving something they have worked hard for. Watching our students step into the examination room with confidence and determination is one of the most rewarding parts of our year.
Whether your child dreams of dancing professionally or simply loves the joy of movement, ballet exams provide a meaningful milestone in their dance journey.

📣Registration is open for our 2026/2027 dance season online! If you are interested in having your dancer start their ballet exam journey please email us for inquiry and meet/greet to place them accordingly (DPA dancers - Grade 1 ballet exams are open and encouraged for all our mini select dancers and junior dancers that have not completed Gr. 1 already).

The fact that you made an entire studio cry 😭says a thousand words about the beautiful humans and leaders you are, both inside and out. DPA will not be the same without you next year, but we know the world is gaining three exceptional, life-changing people.👏🏻⭐️

🥳🥹Gah… words can’t even describe how overfilled with joy and pride we are after another unforgettable year. Our annual recital this weekend was truly one for the books! 💜✨

All of our dancers’ and teachers’ hard work poured out onto that stage with so much passion, professionalism, and heart. So many dancers , including our little ones, had countless quick changes, and somehow the show went on seamlessly from start to finish.👏🏻

Of course, none of this would have been possible without our unbelievable backstage crew: teachers, alumni, alumni mamas, family, and friends, the true MVPs who made it possible for our dance families to sit back, watch stress-free, and enjoy every moment. 🫶

Our hearts are so full… but also a little heavy as we say goodbye to three beloved grads - incredible mentors, leaders, teachers, role models, and dancers. And of course, to our fearless leader, Pam. There truly wasn’t a dry eye in the house. (Their special post is coming separately 💜)

We truly have the best dance families, and when we all come together in one place, it creates something beyond magical.

We have also had the privilege of having Daphne for her very first dance steps just before age 2 and have got to see her grow into a talented, passionate and dedicated dancer! 🥹This year in particular we have seen her grow so much in many different styles of dance, all her teachers have said what a privilege it is to teach her and see her shine! Dance is definitely this girls happy place!! 💜

She also had her first solo this year and you would have no idea with her smile and confidence that is was her first time out solo! Keep on inspiring us Daphne! 😘👏🏻
