MacGregor Town & Country Golf Club

There is a fair bunch of water on the course this morning so until we can get some of it pumped off and some branches cleaned up we are not allowing power carts out for today at least. We are not closing the course, but bring your rubber boots.

It’s MacGregor Fair weekend. That means there will be a temporary green on hole 4 part way down the fairway so that nobody hits balls in to the riding ring while the horses and riders are in there. Thank you for your cooperation.

Found a head cover on #8 tee box this morning (Tuesday). If it is yours it can be claimed at the clubhouse.

Looking ahead at the weather forecast for the rest of this week it doesn’t look good for Thursday for aerating greens. So we are going to cancel the job for this spring and make sure we get it done in the fall. So if something happens it doesn’t rain on Thursday the course will be open.

So remember when I said that we would be closed through the day on Thursday June 4th for aerating of greens? Well due to a machinery breakdown our aerating guy is not going to be able to do it that day , so we have switched it to Thursday June 11th. Again a reminder post will be posted and posters will be up.

So just a preemptive heads up, there will be posters up and I will do a reminder post next week, the golf course will be closed until early evening next Thursday June 4th so we can aerate our greens.
Also the next day, Friday June 5th we will be overseeding all the greens as well. We will not be closing the course on Friday but you may experience some delays.
