It's so nice when some of the people doing the renovations are also Pajo's bowlers. 💖 Some bowlers like putting pixie dust on their shoes (sawdust) to help them slide. They put a little under the mat at the base of the approach, but it's hard lifting the mat since it's flush with the approach. Thanks for the suggestion, Jeff Carver, for cutting a tiny finger hold on the mat. The bowlers will appreciate it! 💗

Candlepin machinery has not been made since the late 50s/early 60s. There is something to "they don't make 'em like they used to," but the machines still need rehabbing. Gus has been cleaning motors and gearboxes, and many are missing gaskets which aren't made anymore. So what does he do? He designs replacements, then cuts them out of gasket material using a laser cutter. 🤓
It's a boy! 🤣 Working on shafts today. Getting ready for the big reopening. 💖

This part is the most fun--the testing of the machines.🕺 Thanks to Risser Design Build and Mitchell Electrical Ltd. for giving our machines a run for their money. We want to be ready for our leagues that start in one week! 💥--correction, they start on September 8. I'm losing track, haha.
