Rum on a roof!🍾🏣 Drawing on our experience in Berumda, David introduced Bluestone to the 'Bermuda roof wetting'. A Bermudian roof wetting is a celebratory tradition that honors the completion of a building's roof. It involves the construction crew, architects, and owners gathering to pour Gosling's Black Seal Rum over the new roof and passing around the bottle to bless the structure and celebrate the hard work. 🎉👷🏗️ Congratulations to Bluestone on this milestone!

Construction is underway on a 31-storey, 448-unit residential tower at King and Waterloo. Replacing the old open-air parking garage, the new infill project will feature a 4–5 storey street-edge podium, retail and amenity space with generous bird-friendly glazing, and a multi-level parking structure tucked above and below grade. It’s designed to complement the nearby heritage Armories building while adding new energy to the streetscape.

An 8-storey, 170-unit purpose-built student residence is being built on this narrow, wedged site beside the CN railway. With a slim floorplate for maximum light and air, locally sourced brick anchors the base while playful steel siding and yellow bioclimatic sunshades lift the massing. Recessed walls, full-height glazing, and a welcoming glazed entrance break up the long linear form. Top-floor terraces, shared amenities, and future pathway connections make it more than a building—it’s a student hub. 🌞🚲

It is 12 storeys, with 121 units offering a range of resident-focused amenities, including indoor and outdoor common spaces, a fully equipped fitness room, and both above- and below-grade parking. Twenty-one percent of the units are planned to meet barrier-free requirements.

The redevelopment of 310–320 North Park Street in Brantford for Leschuk Developments, includes an 11-storey residential building with 155 apartment units, a retained commercial building, and a detached two-storey parking structure at the rear.

The design responds to a complex urban site with significant grade changes, balancing housing, parking, and retail within a clear and efficient site layout.
