Do you have a swimmer, dancer, or gymnast looking to try something new? πŸ’¦πŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈ

Artistic swimming brings together so many of the skills these athletes already love β€” water confidence, flexibility, coordination, body awareness, strength, rhythm, and performance β€” all in a fun team environment.

Our free Try Art Swim sessions are a great way for kids ages 5–12 to see how their background in swimming, dance, or gymnastics can transfer into the sport. Swimmers will explore creative movement in the water, try skills like kicking, floating, and somersaults, and get a feel for what artistic swimming is all about.

Families can also meet our coaches, connect with current club members, and learn which LRASC program may be the best fit.

What an incredible summer for Madi, who had the opportunity to represent Team Ontario on the Youth Development Team at Canada Cup! πŸ’™

Ever wonder what actually goes into artistic swimming? πŸ‘€

It’s a lot more than swimming to music.

Our athletes are building strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, musicality, teamwork and so much more β€” all while learning to perform in one of the most unique sports out there. πŸ’ͺ🏼🌊🎢

And just like any great athlete, those skills are built one layer at a time. From first learning to feel comfortable in the water, to developing strong technical foundations, to competing at higher levels, every stage has a purpose.

Over the next little while, we’re going to break down how artistic swimmers develop, what we train at different ages, and why we train it that way.

Swipe through for an introduction to the sport and the pathway athletes can follow right here at London Artistic Swimming! πŸ’—πŸ©΅
