The London Nationals are excited to announce the signing of Toms Vavilovs for the 2026-27 season.

The 6’5” forward from Latvia joins the Nationals after developing with BioSteel Sports Academy U18 AAA, bringing size, skill, and a strong two-way game to London.

With experience competing against elite competition in North America, Vavilovs adds another exciting piece to the Nationals roster as we continue building for the upcoming season.

The London Nationals are excited to announce the signing of Roberts Rodrigo Jansons for the 2026-27 season.

The Latvian forward joins the Nationals after competing with BioSteel Sports Academy U18 AAA, bringing an impressive combination of size, skill, and international experience to the organization.

Standing at 6’5”, Jansons has developed his game against elite competition in both Europe and North America, showcasing strong puck skills, offensive instincts, and a dependable two-way approach. His work ethic and commitment to development make him an exciting addition to the Nationals lineup.

🚨 CHIN RETURNS 🚨

The London Nationals are proud to announce that Whalen Chin has re-signed for the 2026-27 season!

Whalen joined the Nationals during the 2025-26 season and quickly became a strong addition to the lineup, bringing energy, compete, and a responsible two-way game each night.

In 10 regular-season games with London, Chin recorded 3 goals and 1 assist for 4 points, while also appearing in 7 playoff games for the Nationals.

Before joining London, Whalen spent part of the season with the Ayr Centennials, recording 5 assists in 21 games.

We’re excited to welcome Whalen back to the Nationals family for the upcoming season!

🚨 POMERLEAU COMMITS 🚨

The London Nationals are proud to congratulate Austen Pomerleau, a member of last season’s Nationals roster, on his commitment to play NCAA hockey at Wilkes University next season!

Austen leaves behind an incredible legacy in London after two outstanding seasons with the Nationals. Over 91 regular-season games, he recorded 54 goals and 66 assists for 120 points, becoming one of the club’s most productive and impactful players.

This past season, he led the way with 30 goals and 41 assists for 71 points in 46 games, while adding 7 points in 6 Sutherland Cup Playoff games.

Austen also leaves his name in the Nationals record book with two franchise records: the fastest goal to start a third period at 10 seconds, and the fastest hat trick in franchise history at 4 minutes and 29 seconds.

Congratulations, Austen — and best of luck at Wilkes University!

The London Nationals would like to thank Cooper Love for his time, effort, and commitment to the organization as he moves on to join the Waterloo Siskins.

Cooper represented the Nationals with tremendous character both on and off the ice. A great teammate, a respected presence in the room, and someone who carried himself the right way, Cooper made a lasting impact during his time in London.

That character was recognized this past season when Cooper received the Classiest Player Award, a reflection of the respect he earned from teammates, coaches, opponents, officials, and fans.

Thank you, Cooper, for everything you gave to the Nationals organization. We wish you all the best in Waterloo and in the next chapter of your hockey journey.

🚨 FORECHECK, BACKCHECK, JANICEK 🚨

The London Nationals are proud to announce that William Janicek has re-signed for the 2026-27 season!

Janicek returns after proving himself as one of the toughest, most dependable players on the Nationals roster. Last season, he appeared in 22 regular-season games, recording 6 assists, and added 2 assists in 7 playoff games.

But his impact goes far beyond the scoresheet.

William is a wall on the back end - hard to play against, strong in his own zone, and willing to do the little things that help a team win. His compete level, reliability, and team-first game made him a fan favourite, and last season he was officially voted the London Nationals Fan Favourite.

🚨 BURLEIGH SIGNS 🚨

The London Nationals are proud to announce that defenceman Jack Burleigh has officially signed with the club!

Jack joins the Nationals after playing last season with the Toronto Nationals U18 AAA program, and quickly made an impression as a standout at our Prospect Camp.

A smart two-way defenceman, Jack brings poise, confidence, and strong puck-moving ability to the blue line. His calm approach under pressure and ability to make the right play are key strengths in his game.

This signing also comes with a special connection to the city, as Jack has family roots in London with his grandparents living here.

🚨 DOS REIS RETURNS 🚨

The London Nationals are proud to announce that Sebastian Dos Reis has re-signed for the 2026-27 season!

Sebastian made a strong impact after joining the Nationals, bringing size, strength, and a physical edge to the lineup. In 19 regular-season games, he recorded 8 goals and 4 assists for 12 points, while continuing to contribute through the playoffs.

With his work ethic, compete level, and ability to play a hard game in all three zones, Dos Reis is ready to build on his success in London.
