Congratulations to LDBA umpires Isaac Zywczok and Ben Flesher on a successful Ontario Cup. Both umpires were selected to join the National Umpire Program next season as a result of their hard work at the O-Cup.

Come out to Labatt Park tonight to watch Jim Cressman, Rob Companion & Justin Snively work the Majors game and support the London Abused Women's Centre. First pitch is at 7:30pm, and all three of our umpires will be wearing purple in support of the LAWC. See you at the park!
Congratulations to the following LDBA Umpires who have been selected to participate in Baseball Canada Championships in 2012.
Shawn Taylor was selected to work the P*e Wee Championships as his first National.
Justin Snively and Rob Stevenson will be working the Baseball Canada Cup here in London in August.
LDBA Supervisor of Umpires, Rob Companion has been selected to supervise the umpires of the Bantam Championships in Vaughn, ON and former Olympic and Minor League umpire Jim Cressman has been selected to supervise the Junior Championships in Trois Rivieres, QC.

Anthem controversy strikes out spirits during Majors exhibition doubleheader There wasn’t a lot of hits, more than a handful of errors and runs were limited for the London Majors in an exhibition doubleheader against the Hamilton Cardinals Sunday (April 29), but for some fans, the national anthem not being played was the lowlight of the game.
