After capturing hockeys ultimate prize with the Carolina Hurricanes, Jordan Martinook is brining the Stanley Cup back to the community that helped shape his journey.

Join us at the Leduc Recreation Centre on August 11th to celebrate this incredible achievement, see the Stanley Cup up close and capture a photo with the most iconic trophy in hockey!

Raised in Leduc, Martinook recently won the 2026 Stanley Cup with the Carolina Hurricanes and is bringing hockey's most iconic trophy home to share the moment with the community that helped shape his journey.

We’re excited to offer additional skill development opportunities this season with former professional hockey player Grant Stevenson and Skill Zone Hockey.

These high performance sessions are designed to help U13–U18 players continue developing their skills all season long.

Open to players from all leagues. Some sessions take place during school hours, and scheduling accommodations or age-group exceptions may be available on a case-by-case basis.

The LJAC family is heartbroken to learn of the passing of former player Kyle Calder (1994–95).

Kyle's journey from LJAC to the NHL was a remarkable one, and his success at the highest level of hockey was a source of pride for our club and community. While many will remember him for his accomplishments on the ice, he will also be remembered as a valued member of the LJAC family.

Our thoughts are with Kyle's family, friends, former teammates, and everyone whose lives he touched. We know his loss will be deeply felt by many across the hockey community and beyond.

Thank you, Kyle, for being part of our story. Your legacy and connection to LJAC will not be forgotten.

Jordan played for LJAC from 2005-2009 and has continued to make the organization proud! YOU ARE A LEGEND JORDAN and forever a STANLEY CUP CHAMPION!

🚨Head Coach Announcement 🚨

The Leduc Junior Athletic Club is pleased to welcome Tony Orsini as the new U18AAA Head Coach for the upcoming season.

Tony brings a strong coaching background and a passion for player development and helping athletes reach their full potential both on and off the ice. His coaching philosophy focuses on building confidence, character, respect, and long-term athlete development in a positive and competitive environment. Tony has extensive experience at AAA, including serving as a Head Coach at U17AAA and U18AAA levels, along with coaching roles at the Alberta Cup, Alberta Winter Games, and Hockey Alberta programs.

LJAC would also like to sincerely thank Cody Leeming for all of his hard work, dedication, and commitment to our organization over the past few years. We greatly appreciate everything Cody has contributed to LJAC and our athletes.
