Balance, Communication & A Little Pixie Sparkle! ✨

Our campers had so much fun today working on balance, independent aids, rein control, and clear communication with their horses through fun mounted games! 🎯🐎

They practiced maintaining a balanced seat and lower leg, developing steady rein contact, and using their hands, seat, legs, and voice to communicate effectively with their horses. It’s amazing how much learning can happen when we turn our lessons into games! 🥰

And of course… we couldn’t forget the most important part of the day! 😂💅 Pixie got herself some fabulous purple nail polish, and we have to say… she looks absolutely fabulous! 💜✨She’s definitely ready to show off her fresh pedicure around the barn!

Lots of learning, lots of laughs, and just a little bit of Pixie sparkle! 🐴💜

🎉MONDAY CAMP CHAOS… IN THE BEST WAY!

And just like that… ANOTHER WEEK OF SUMMER CAMP IS UNDERWAY! 🎉

Monday was full of horses, happy kids, dirty hands, big smiles and probably enough laughter to keep the barn entertained all week! 🐴

The campers were busy grooming, tacking, riding, learning about horse care, helping around the barn, playing games and making memories with their new friends — both two-legged AND four-legged!

Because let’s be honest… you can’t have horse camp without getting a little dirty, a little sweaty and having A LOT of fun! 🤣💦

And behind every successful camp day is an amazing crew of helpers! 💜

✨ BOBBIE
✨ NYLAH
✨ OLIVIA
✨ PAIGE
✨ HAYLEY
✨ KARINA
✨Sophia

A HUGE thank you to all of you for jumping in, helping with the campers, helping with the horses, keeping things moving and making camp that much more fun! 💜

It takes a village to run camp, and I am so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. You’re helping create memories these kids will talk about long after summer is over.

So here’s to another week of horse kisses, muddy boots, big laughs, tired kids and very spoiled horses! 🤣

LET THE SUMMER CAMP FUN CONTINUE!🎉

When the temperatures rise, it's time to cool off with our favorite teammates! 💦

Hot days at the barn call for water games with the horses! From playful water fights to cooling showers, it's a fun way to help our equine partners beat the heat while building trust and confidence. Nothing beats smiles, laughter, and happy horses on a summer day! 🔫

What an incredible day at camp! 🎉 From learning new horsemanship skills and building confidence in the saddle to enjoying fun games, plenty of laughs, and unforgettable moments with our amazing horses, today was one to remember. Every camper showed great teamwork, kindness, and determination, and we couldn't be prouder of how much they've learned and accomplished. Watching their confidence grow each day is what makes camp so special. We can't wait to see what tomorrow brings! 🐴❤️

Teamwork makes the barn work! 🐴🪣

Our campers rolled up their sleeves and got to work cleaning feed buckets, learning that great horsemanship goes far beyond riding. Stable management is an essential part of equestrian life, and today they learned the importance of maintaining clean feeding equipment to help keep our horses healthy and happy.

We're so proud of these hardworking campers and their willingness to jump in and help with the daily responsibilities that come with caring for horses! 💙🐎

Friends and horses—the perfect combination. 🐴🤍

From sharing laughs around the barn to cheering each other on in the arena, equestrian sport is about more than learning to ride. It's about building confidence, developing horsemanship, and creating friendships that last a lifetime.

This evening's lessons were filled with learning, progress, and plenty of smiles! 🐴✨

Our riders focused on developing balanced, effective positions, improving communication through correct aids, and building confidence in the saddle. It's always rewarding to see horsemanship skills and partnerships with our horses grow with every ride.

A fun evening at the barn and another great step forward in each rider's equestrian journey! 🤍

Summer Camp – Day 3

Another fantastic day at **Eastern Shore Equestrian**! Today, our campers continued developing their horsemanship through a combination of hands-on stable management and time in the saddle.

Throughout the day, our riders focused on grooming, proper tack fitting, horse health and daily care, safe horse handling, and building independent riding skills. During their lessons, they worked on balance, position, effective use of the aids, and improving communication with their equine partners.

At Eastern Shore Equestrian, we believe great riders are made both in and out of the saddle. Watching these young equestrians gain confidence, knowledge, and respect for their horses has been incredibly rewarding. We can't wait to see what they accomplish next! 👏
