The Trappers visit the Delta Ice Hawks at Sungod Arena at 7:00pm in game 3 of 7 exhibitions. This is a back to back weekend for the Trappers who host the Ice Hawks tomorrow afternoon at George Preston Arena.

The Langley Trappers have acquired the playing rights of Liam O’Neill (D-2006) from the Revelstoke Grizzlies in exchange for the playing rights of Avraham Brown (F-2008)

The Langley Trappers are proud to announce the commitment of Kaleb Beson (Forward-2008). Beson joins the Trappers after two years with Langley Hockey Academy of the JPHL. Beson grew up playing for the Cloverdale Minor Hockey Association. Beson is a solid player all around the ice. He has a knack for finding loose pucks and creating opportunities from transitions. We hope he scores many goals this season.

Kaleb has been a Trapper prospect for a few years and we are excited to see him in the Cream and Blue this season.

The Langley Trappers are proud to announce the commitment of Brett Tomlin (Defence-2008). Tomlin joins the Trappers from the Northeast Chiefs BCEHL program where he has spent the past three seasons. Tomlin is very responsible and agile. He’s consistently winning corner battle’s and executing zone exits. “We are excited to work with Brett this season and encourage him to get up ice and into the rush. He’s a smooth skater who plays heads up hockey which allows him to see plays unfold”—Coach Bakken.

We have confidence Tomlin will become one of the premier defensemen in the league.

The Langley Trappers are proud to announce the commitment of Alex Johnson (Forward -2008). Johnson joins the Trappers from the Kootenay Hockey Academy in the JPHL where he has spent the past three seasons. Johnson is both a playmaker and an offensive threat; he’s always active around the net. “We feel Alex will fit into our roster with ease and provide our team with a high IQ. He is a smooth, quick skater who wants the puck on his stick”— Coach Bakken.

Alex Johnson will be an exciting player to watch all season long.

The Langley Trappers are proud to announce the commitment of Lukas Cho (Forward -2010). Cho has spent the past two seasons with the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds BCEHL program where he has been a two way player and offensive threat. Cho has shown a high knowledge for the game and an eager willingness to learn. At sixteen years old, he’ll be one of the youngest players in the league and very exciting to watch! Welcome to the Trappers Lukas!

HOME OPENER versus the Burnaby Steelers in 41 days!

The Langley Trappers are celebrating 10 years of sanctioned Junior hockey and are entering the first season of competition in the British Columbia Hockey Conference!

Ten years ago, the Trappers faced off for the first time versus the Grandview Steelers. So, it’s only fitting we kick off the tenth season against the same opponent.

We are looking forward to celebrating ten years with you this season!

Langley Trappers exhibition season kicks off in 15 days!

The pre-season begins on the road in Chilliwack. Games with the Ice Hawks round out August. A visit from the Tsunami to start September. Finishing the exhibition season with a home and home series with the Princeton Posse!

Seven exhibition games in total in preparation for the start of the season on September 19th!
