Citizens' Assembly Recommendation #3: Balance community safety response with prevention strategies, to improve community safety.
An example is the City and external partners using community data to proactively use resources in areas that have higher needs or negative activity and working with the RCMP, Fire and Bylaws to increase visibility and support.
Last year, Langley City's Citizens' Assembly on Community Safety created recommendations to help guide future policies and initiatives to improve community safety and address residents' concerns.
