This convention is different from other dance conventions. It takes place in the heart of Fort Langley at Langley Fine Arts school. We have 3 - 4 classes running at one time using their dance studios and the gymnasium. It’s a safe, non-intimidating place for you to come and learn different dance styles with a group of amazing instructors.

There’s no pressure to be perfect, just come and explore dance in your own way, at your own pace. Our instructors will go through a short routine and add-on a little at a time and then you just get to dance the routine.

Come join a ballet class with Paris Zondag ! She will start slow and teach you a fun ballet combo. You don’t have to have any experience, just the desire to learn.

That is just one option. You can take jazz, ballet, hip-hop, contemporary or jazz funk with some incredible instructors. You can come for one class or stay for up to four classes.

This is a safe non-intimidating space where you can be free and learn how to dance with no pressure about doing it a certain way.

Meet Harj Rai, our old school hip-hop/popping/locking instructor. This routine looked really fast and scary when we first saw it but he slowed it right down and we learned it. That included people that had never even taken hip-hop before. By the end of the hour, everyone was doing it. So much fun!

YOU CAN DO REALLY HARD THINGS

This past weekend I finally did something that I have been dreaming about doing for years; a 2.1 km swim across Okanogan Lake.

I trained hard for a month but I had no idea what was coming! It was some of the worst conditions they have seen so it turned our swim into more like a 4 km swim! I was swimming for 2 hours and 10 minutes but I did it and felt strong for most of the swim. I can also say that positive self talk goes a very long way.

So if you have something hard you have thought about doing, I encourage you to go for it! You CAN do it!

One of our favourite Festival traditions returns on Sunday, July 26 with a FREE outdoor yoga session from 10 to 10:45 am on the grassy area in front of the Fort Langley Community Hall! 🧘‍♀️

Led by Moira Fricke from Inspire Women's Fitness Langley and accompanied by live music from Elisa Thorn this welcoming all-ages, all-abilities class is the perfect way to begin your day before heading out to enjoy a full afternoon of free music, art and culture throughout the Village.

Our free Sunday morning yoga session is a beautiful opportunity to slow down, breathe deeply and share a meaningful experience with fellow Festival-goers.

Whether you're a seasoned yogi or simply looking for a peaceful way to start your morning, everyone is welcome. Just bring your own yoga mat or towel!

We can't think of a better way to begin a Sunday filled with music, community and sunshine.

Join us for a fun day of dance where you can explore different styles all in one day Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz Funk and Hip Hop.

Come join us at the Langley Fine Arts School for our 3rd adult dance convention, 18+. This event is open to all levels and all genders. Whether you’re a beginner looking to try something new or a seasoned dancer, this convention has something for everyone. It is an opportunity to connect with other adults in a safe space while sharing your love of dance!

We are excited to dance with you!

HOW IT WORKS:
You will pay for the number of classes you want to do (1, 2, 3 or 4). The single ticket price is per class. You save money if you do 4 classes (all day pass).

Once you have signed up, we will get a notification and then email you directly to ask for your class selection (please make sure you enter the correct email). You can choose 1 class per time slot as they will all be in different studios.
