🌲 1 Hour – Woodland Plateau Ride
$130 per person

🌲 1.5 Hour – Viewpoint Lookout Ride
$180 per person

🌲 2.5 Hour – Mike Lake Ride
$250 per person

With our permit officially in place, we’re excited to once again hit the trails at beautiful Golden Ears Provincial Park! This provincial gem offers stunning scenery, peaceful forest trails, and an unforgettable horseback adventure.

Please note these rides will be primarily paced at the walk due to the technical and steep terrain throughout the park.

Horse availability is limited for this special weekend and we anticipate rides selling out quickly.

🐎 Woodland Plateau Ride
A scenic forest ride that emerges briefly onto a woodland plateau and hydro corridor offering beautiful views over the surrounding forests and rolling landscape.

🐎 Viewpoint Lookout Ride
Ride deeper into the park to a lookout point with clear views of the city skyline in the distance before returning along the same beautiful trail.

🐎 Mike Lake Ride
Travel deep into the forest along the picturesque Mike Lake Trail before stopping for a 20-minute lakeside break. Guests will dismount to enjoy the scenery while our guide horses carry your light snack and non-alcoholic beverage of choice in saddle bags.

Please bring your own small, packable snack and drink as these are not provided by Glen Valley Stables.

After your break, you’ll mount up and return to the main corral along the same trail.

Guests participating in the Mike Lake Ride must be physically capable of mounting and dismounting without assistance.

Our friends from ⁠NucleusLabs joined us for a senior management team-building event aboard the backs of our incredible horses!

This group chose our 2-hour Cowboy’s Best Ride, taking on the full 11 km Shaggy Mane Trail that winds its way through the beauty of Campbell Valley Park. Sunshine, good horses, and great company made for a pretty fantastic day on the trails.

There’s no better time to soak up the summer weather and enjoy some time in the saddle with our trusty mounts. Riders aged 6 and up are welcome, and our summer rides are booking quickly! 💨

Our stunning regional park, Campbell Valley, is hosting the Langley “Canada D’eh” Car Show tomorrow at the historic old raceway.

We still have a few last-minute horseback riding spots available if you’d like to hit the trails and experience the original horsepower before or after wandering down to the raceway to check out the incredible vehicles on display.

Happy 23rd Birthday, Katie-Kat! 🎉🎂🍷

Our veteran girl is aging beautifully—just like a fine wine! 🍷 Having been with us longer than any other horse in the herd, we couldn’t be happier that she chose to make Glen Valley home and stay awhile.

While Kat’s workload has slowed down a little in her golden years, this mare isn’t quite ready for full-time retirement. She still loves ambling along the trails, taking in the scenery, and enjoying some fine dining along the way. (Anyone who knows Kat knows she’s our biggest snacker! 🌿😂)

Katie-Kat has touched the hearts of so many riders and visitors over the years, and we are incredibly grateful to have shared so many adventures with this beautiful mare.

Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads out there! 🤠🐴

Here at Glen Valley Stables, we specialize in making you feel like a bona fide cowboy for an hour or two. Whether it’s something you’ve always dreamed of, or a way of life you grew up with but haven’t experienced in years, there’s nothing quite like saddling up and hitting the trail.

We had a very special guest joining us on rides this weekend. One of our beloved former horses, Ace—now known as Leo—returned to the trails alongside one of his human’s, Mel. Leo stepped right back into guiding as though he hadn’t missed a single day.

Earlier this year, we made the decision to rehome Leo after he made it clear that he preferred forming strong bonds with riders he knew and loved, rather than taking out new guests on a regular basis. Since then, he has been thriving in his new career, learning to jump and becoming an exceptional English mount for his new mom.

Seeing Leo happy, healthy, and flourishing in his new home is exactly what every horse owner hopes for, and we couldn’t be more proud of him.

We’re so glad to see you thriving, Leo, and we look forward to seeing you and Mel guide many more rides with us this summer! ❤️

Our beautiful and beloved rescue horse, Laredo, enjoyed a peaceful wander through the blooms on our Cowboy’s Best Ride. This stunning wildflower field is a favourite destination for both photographers and riders, offering a little slice of country magic right here in Langley.

Saturday (tomorrow) is nearly sold out, with only a few spots remaining later in the afternoon. Cheeko and a couple of his buddies got fitted with brand-new riding shoes today, and they’re ready to hit the trails this weekend! Whether you’re planning an adventure with friends, family, or treating Dad to something memorable for Father’s Day, these boys are saddled up and waiting.

If your dad has ever imagined himself riding into the sunset like John Dutton, working cattle alongside Rip Wheeler, or simply appreciates the western way of life, we’ve got the next best thing to a trip to the Yellowstone Ranch.
