Every fall/winter, we have held an obstacle challenge/jump course "buckle series". It's a lot of work and money in insurance so I just want to reach out before I plan one again. Usually, it's on a Sunday once a month for 3-4 months, weather dependent (we at least get 3 in).
The series is mainly for rider development but you can earn buckles and prizes at the end.
We allow outside riders not from our barn to join the fun but it's been a lot of my own students over the years and a great way to get Novice to advance riders improving their riding and ready for show season. So far, we've had just enough interest the last few years and I'm always worried I won't have enough riders.
We do jump courses from ground poles and up in the late morning; obstacle courses in the afternoon.
The arena is semi-heated and insulated. We are adding a chimney fan this year to disperse more heat.
Please let me know if you will attend before I decide on dates for 2026-2027. I will probably do an event Nov, Dec, Feb and Mar.
I will decide by next week if we're going this year. I need at least 10 die hard participants. If interested in volunteering or judging, please reach out. All local shows are subject to enough support.

The show finished off nicely with both Anja and Bella winning a first place ribbons, plus a few other ribbons, in their respective jumper classes. There is so much talent and potential in our horses and riders! Can't wait to sleep tonight!

Looking for someone to enjoy Horado, a huge 2008 17.1hh-17.2hh Trakehner gelding — a fancy mover, suited for dressage, with a bit of quirk but very safe and has become more of a babysitter over the years. He’s in good condition and soundness for his age, knows liberty well, and is great for low leisurely jumping (given his age), dressage, and improving overall riding skills. He will give you abs of steel as his movement works the core and will whip you into shape. He is not for the faint of heart but will give you an amazing seat! We do not want to see him retire so soon; open to lease or sale to an approved home. Part-lease includes access to him 3 days/week plus the option of up to 2 group lessons/week. Located 30 min. northwest of Saskatoon off hwy 16, temperature controlled arena, and available once a suitable rider is found; we are hoping for someone who will give him a wonderful semi-retirement home if he sells. He would be great for dressage, working equitation (loves obstacles) and he has been used in liberty demos and clinics. He can be enjoyed from the ground and/or in the saddle. On property lease. Must have prior experience and a relatively good seat to sit his rocking horse canter and transitions. He is nicely forward but can be lazy with beginners. He has so much potential for dressage! I would really like him to be someone's dressage mount for a few years.

I am finalizing a fall schedule this week. If you require an evening lesson time or need to change time after the summer months, please contact soon so I can fit you in.
We should have some evening spots available for new riders this fall.
I am taking personal holidays Mon Sept 28 to Fri Oct 2. I will not be teaching at all that week. This does not affect 4 weekly lessons available Sept and Oct. Reminder we offer one makeup per month per weekly spot if you ask for an alternative time. We sometimes offer more alternative lesson times for road conditions driving out. 4 lessons per month is the minimum commitment to stay active in our program. 2 times a week and part-leases are sometimes available.
If interested in lessons please contact Breanna 306-202-6737.
