How You Win Matters Built on a submission-only, round-robin format, it has since evolved into a North American Federation.

Led by a team of artists with a passion for Jiu-Jitsu, AVA Submission Grappling was founded in 2017 as a local in-house tournament in Vancouver, British Columbia. AVA’s ruleset rewards submissions and minimizes stalling, refining the EBI Overtime and incorporates a seasonal ranking structure. Points accumulate throughout the year at Central, Regional and Coastal tournaments, leading to four major
