Ladysmith Golf Club was officially opened in June 1980, but the groundwork had been laid a few years earlier. After obtaining an initial grant from the Government of $35,000 and $10,000 from the Legion, Rotary Club and an army of volunteers began work. The golf course is owned by the Town of Ladysmith and is leased to the Ladysmith Golf Club, a non profit society run by a board of directors. Today
Unfortunately the ones doing the maintenance to the greens had to cancell . Therefore the course will be open at 12 pm for the general public. We apologize for this .

Looks like the Mens league are off to a great start to their summer Golf.
They had their 1st BBQ for the year, and as usual it was a success. With the help from Joan setting up the clubhouse and Lise and Cory doing the BBQ.
Great meal and everyone enjoyed.
I would like to send a HUGE SHOUT OUT to all the volunteers who turned up to help out with the punching of the greens this past Wednesday and Thursday.
