Just want to apologize to everyone for not giving you an update sooner!
Unfortunately for the time being I am not really in a position to get back to teaching. I am hoping to return to it still, but need to take care of a few things medically and personally first.
I miss you all!!! (SO much, you have no idea!) and hopefully will see you all once I am back and running again. In the meantime if anyone needs help finding another yoga practice they can attend let me know.
As always, feel free to reach out to me personally as well.
Mad Gatherer Yoga

Beginner and intermediate classes, classical Hatha, Viniyoga, Ashtanga, Yin, Nidra, Meditative, and Restorative.
Looking forward to returning to our weekly yoga on Thursdays starting tomorrow!
North Oyster Community Centre, 530-630pm.
As it has been for the past few years, this will be a pay-what-you can class, to try to keep it financially viable for more people.
Tomorrow will be a slower paced yin-style class that focuses on the foot (Pada Bandha, specifically). We will have some balance play as well.
Send me a DM, text, or comment here if you're in! See you there
:)
Yay!
Starting a mobility-focused yoga again this Thursday 530-630pm at North oyster community center!
Send me a dm to let me know you're in and I'll see you Thursday! Let me know if you want to do av welcome back snack post yoga and I'll make sure I bring stuff! Anyone who is interested and not one of my existing students, make sure you touch base with me before coming.
Keeping with the pay-what-you can, etransfer to [email protected] and password yoga123
See you all in an hour!
I am OFFICIALLY opening up my Thursdays for February.
-North Oyster Community Center
-530-630pm
-Feb 13,20,27 (3 Classes)
-relaxing, stretching, and a bit of breathwork. This is NOT going to be a month of strength training. This is not "jumping in" to a hard workout for the new year.
-Music will be played during these classes.
-Pay what you can.
E-transfers to [email protected]. Answer to question set as Yoga123
Class is only for maximum of 12 people, so please only join if you are able to attend all 3. Of course I can make exceptions, please reach out if you need one! I will not accept your etransfer if class is full (which is why I do not do auto deposit). March will be a new set of classes with a new focus!
DM or email if you have any questions. See you soon!
I'm baaaaaaackkkkkk!!!
I'll be starting a new yoga session on Thursdays, 530-630 pm, at the North Oyster Community Centre, starting Feb 13th!
February is going to start with a very gentle, relaxing yoga. I will update you with what march will be soon! Couple changes this year, and a couple things staying the same!
1) I'm going to keep the "pay what you can" set up for my classes. I really don't feel like with how expensive food, rent, living in general is right now compared to average wages, that most yoga is accessible to all.
2) I am going to keep the month to month set up without drop ins, HOWEVER, I am going to be able to make exceptions for shift workers. If you need an exception for month to month sign ups and aren't able to commit to all the classes in the month, please let me know so I am able to open up that class to someone else who maybe can't attend the ones you can!
My goal with month to month instead of allowing drop ins is twofold-
a) It allows people to make a commitment. Since I have a pay what you can structure set up, it frankly has eliminated people's sense of financial commitment that sometimes pushes people to attend. I had numerous people this year request a spot with no financial commitment only to not show up to any of the classes. That being said I want to continue to hold space for those who are really seeking to start or further their yoga practice but can't really afford more than the fuel to get to the class.
b) It really allows me to get to know my students. That sense of community is important to me, and I know, to many of you too! This is ultimately why I am hoping to keep a month to month structure instead of having one off/drop ins. It creates a more comfortable atmosphere, with classes catered to the people who I know show up. I always take requests for focuses on following classes, etc. (Yes, even if it's a return of my singing bowl. =P )
3) I plan on keeping my class sizes small again, I find that works best for all of us. Classes are limited to 12 people (limited further on the sets that require all the extra props as I only have 10 extra sets)
As always, any questions, let me know!!!
I'll do a separate post "advertising" the February classes soon!!!
