**Un immense merci à toutes et à tous!**

Merci à toutes les personnes qui ont contribué au succès de notre événement de **sprint de plage en aviron de mer**. Ce fut un magnifique travail d’équipe pour créer une belle réussite, remplie d’émotions, de victoires, de défis et de défaites, mais surtout de moments mémorables.

Un merci tout particulier à nos **bénévoles, employés, arbitres et responsables**, dont l’engagement a permis d’offrir une expérience exceptionnelle à nos participants et à nos visiteurs.

Le sprint de plage fera son entrée aux **Jeux olympiques de 2028**… ça approche! 🌊🚣‍♀️🏅

BEACH SPRINT DE PLAGE 2026

**A huge thank-you to everyone!**

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of our **beach sprint coastal rowing event**. It was a wonderful team effort that created a memorable experience, filled with emotions, victories, challenges and defeats.

A special thank-you to our **volunteers, staff members, referees and organizers**, whose dedication made this event such a success for our participants and visitors.

Beach sprint rowing will make its Olympic debut at the **2028 Olympic Games**… it’s getting closer! 🌊🚣‍♂️🏅

La journée d'hier a été un franc succès pour les festivités organisées sur l'eau en l'honneur du 50e anniversaire des Jeux olympiques de Montréal de 1976. De nombreux athlètes ayant participé à ces Jeux historiques (les tout premiers à avoir accueilli des rameuses !) étaient présents pour s'essayer à l'aviron de plage aux côtés d'olympiens plus récents et de rameurs locaux. Un grand merci à Charles Hauss, du club d'aviron de Lachine, pour avoir organisé cette régate.

Yesterday was a great success for the on-water celebrations in honour of the 50th anniversary of the Montreal 1976 Olympics. Many athletes from those historic games (first ever for female rowers!) were present to try their hand at beach sprint style rowing along with more recent olympians and local rowers. Many thanks to Charles Hauss of the Lachine rowing club for organizing the regatta.

Please join our rowing training camp this Saturday, August 15, in conjunction with Beach Sprint 2026, which takes place over the weekend at Cap Saint-Jacques Beach in Pierrefonds. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rower, this event offers an excellent opportunity to train, have fun, and connect with fellow rowing enthusiasts.

Grand Splash à Lachine | Plus de 300 personnes sautent à l’eau Plus de 300 personnes ont participé dimanche au Grand Splash de Lachine, près du parc René-Lévesque et de l’ancienne marina. Les organisateurs espèrent que cet engouement incitera la mairie de l’arrondissement à reconsidérer l’idée d’y aménager une piscine en eau libre.

Belle matinée portes ouvertes Aviron Lachine pour découvrir ce beau sport sur l’eau
