As I am trying to reply to each of you that wished me a happy birthday, and waiting for FB to catch up to me and quit glitching, I thought I'd share some of MY thoughts I had on my birthday. The big 55!!!

First, I am so very thankful for each of you that reached out on FB, texts, messages and in person. It was the best of days I had and I appreciate every one of you.

Second, I am so grateful for where my life is now at this age. I don't wish to be 29 again lol at all. I have cherished every year and I do believe I deserve to own my new number of 55.

I reflected on a lot of other things that have happened throughout the years, but I'd probably have to write a book, FB couldn't handle my memories.

It's been a busy few days since I had my birthday. I got to spend it with family that day, then friends the next, then with our adopted daughter, Charlie and three of our beautiful granddaughters, and then a birthday with our other granddaughter yesterday. God is so good. All. The. Time.

PS. My hubby finally came home and actually made if for my birthday, so I'll quit whining now about him being gone for so long lol lol lol.
