The La Crete Lumber Barons are excited to announce that all the coaching and training staff from last season's NWJHL and Provincial Championship squad are BACK for another season!!

This incredible group of leaders has had a HUGE hand in launching our franchise from an upstart team to a consistent contender. In the past 3 seasons together, they've each earned two NWJHL championships (plus being runners-up in 2025), a Provincials silver medal in 2024 and then a gold medal this past season in 2026.

We couldn't ask for a better crew to lead our talented young men! Welcome back gents 👏

Nolan Cardinal has SIGNED with the Grande Prairie Storm of the AJHL for the upcoming season! 📝

Congrats to the NWJHL MVP who tore up the league in his rookie season with 41 goals and 91 points in only 38 games last year!!

Cardinal joins former Lumber Barons Cole Penner and Rydley Gerbrandt on the Storm for the upcoming season 🔥
