Little Lions is RED Academy’s introductory soccer program for boys and girls U5–U7.

Designed as the first step in the RED player pathway, our Pre-Academy program gives young players the opportunity to learn the game in a fun, positive and development-focused environment.

Whether your child is playing organized soccer for the first time or is a young player looking to continue developing their skills, Little Lions provides an age-appropriate introduction to the RED Academy training environment.

U5 Boys & Girls (2021 Birth Year) - 10:00AM to 11:00AM

U6 Boys & Girls (2020 Birth Year) - 11:30AM to 12:30PM

U7 Boys & Girls (2019 Birth Year) - 1:00PM to 2:00PM

Alex will be taking her game to the NCAA Division I level, an incredible achievement and a reflection of the talent, dedication, and work she has put into her development over the years.

Congratulations to Kyler Monterroso on his commitment to the University of Waterloo! (We missed this one last year, apologies Kyler!)

Kyler has been a big part of RED Academy, representing the club from U11 through U17. During his time with RED, he was a crucial member of our 2022 Ontario Cup Championship team.

After RED, Kyler took his game overseas, spending time in Spain playing professionally before returning home to continue his soccer and academic journey at Waterloo.

A very talented footballer and someone we’ve loved watching grow over the years, we’re excited to have Kyler back home and taking this next step.

Congratulations, Kyler! We can’t wait to see you representing the Waterloo Warriors! Best of luck in the OUA this year!!!
