A little change of scenery for the crew.
Paddled out to Cedar Island, explored around Cathcart Tower, climbed a few rocks, took in the views, and even squeezed in a swim before heading back.
Not every night on the water has to be about training. Sometimes it’s just about enjoying where the boat can take us.

Packed our paddles and headed West...
After weeks of training, we spent Saturday at the Belleville Dragon Boat Festival. We had two crews this year, ready to hit the water. Great weather and a friendly welcome by the dedicated festival volunteers made this a great event. The current and wind added some challenges, but our dragons persevered - paddling strong through every race. Our club finished 1st in C Division and 3rd in B Division.
A great summer day of challenge, fun and camaraderie!

Rain or shine, we paddle! 🌦️🐉
After a little rain, the skies cleared just in time for a beautiful evening on the water. Calm water, blue skies, and a crew full of smiles. We couldn’t ask for a better night of paddling. 🌧️☀️
Thanks to everyone who came out and made tonight’s practice such a fun one! 💪

Choppy water. Solid crew. Real progress. 🌊🐉
Not every practice gives you perfect conditions and that’s exactly where you learn to paddle together.
Proud of how our paddlers handled the waves and kept getting better.

Singing in the rain? That may work for some, but our Dragons would rather paddle! And paddle they did, at the Trenton Dragon Boat Festival Saturday. Despite the rain and threats of thunderstorms, our two crews were hot on the water - bringing home a Silver medal in one Final, and a Bronze in another. Despite the weather, a very exciting day. Heartfelt thanks to the organizers and volunteers ❤️
