We provide an amazingly affordable and fantastically fun means of recreation to Queen’s students and members of the Kingston community. Every Monday evening we hold beginner-friendly lessons for Lindy Hop swing dancing. followed by social dancing during the hours after! ‼️ATTENTION: THIS POST RELATES TO IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR AUGUST 10TH‼️
Good news and bad news everyone:
We will not be hosting our usual bi-weekly beginner lesson and social in Wallace hall on Aug 10 (because they are re-doing the floor, very exciting news!).
In even more exciting news, there will be dancing at the city hall square/ amphitheatre on August 10th instead!! The Kingston Swing Dance Community will be holding a beginner lesson and social downtown, same place as the Swinging Summer events on Wednesdays. It will be a ton of fun and we hope to see you there!
Please note: This is not a QSDC affiliated event and there will be no charge for the lesson.

Calling all Queen's students, QSDC members, and Kingston community members! Come and join us for our FINAL summer beginner lesson THIS MONDAY, August 10th! Lesson will take place from 7-8pm in Wallace Hall, and will be followed by a DJ'd social dance.
These lessons are drop-in style, which means you do not need to have attended any prior QSDC events or lessons to attend! No experience necessary, bring a friend or come make some new friends with us!
Lessons are free for members, $5 for Queen's students, and $10 for non-students.
QSDC will resume beginner lessons in September. In the meantime, you can still find most of us dancing at Newlands pavillion!
