We love seeing Kimberley in the summer, when the skis come off and the clubs come out at Trickle Creek Golf Resort, located at the base of Kimberley Alpine Resort.

We are proud to support the East Kootenay Climbing Association with a $500 donation through the Kimberley Summit Fund.

We want to give a HUGE shout out to Kimberley Alpine Resort and the Community Summit Fund for a $500 grant towards our Bolt and Access Fund. This donation will really help us to enhance our local climbing scene with funds allocated to retro-fitting needed routes and supporting development of new climbs!

Generally, a single bolted sport climb typically costs around 150-200$ and roughly 10 hours to clean, prep, and bolt. If you have ever wondered how you can give back to the community, the best way to begin is by being a steward for our climbing areas: Trimming back and maintaining existing trails, making improvements to the bases/belay stances, scrubbing cracks and holds, safely removing loose rock are awesome ways to keep climbs (investments) from deteriorating or being forgotten. If you come across hardware that you do not know how to fix or looks suspect please send us a message on this Facebook profile so we can address it. If you have sent a message in the past and it wasn't addressed please re-send as our profile was semi-dormant for a hot second.

Looking to cool off? The Flume is one of Kimberley's favourite spots to escape the heat. Just a short walk from the Platzl along Mark Creek, this local swimming hole is the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing dip.
