Today, we shared a powerful Ground Blessing Ceremony with our community partners at Child and Family Services.

Together, we gathered to honour and bless the new CFS Land-Based Camp, along with our new Gatehouse and Outdoor Discovery Centre. We were honoured to hear from our Ogimaa, CEO and the Director of CFS as they shared their visions for these important new spaces.

The Gatehouse & Discovery Center will break ground this fall with an anticipated opening in 2027.

We are deeply grateful for the collaboration, support, and shared commitment from our community partners as we continue building spaces that strengthen connection, culture, and Land-based learning.

Our backcountry parking lot was packed this weekend! Happy to see so many out enjoying the solitude and beauty of Point Grondine!

For all future guests, please note that parking can be limited down at the waterfront and we need access for Killarney Outfitters to drop off and pick up canoes.

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our Fall Maintenance Team as Park Guardians. This is an opportunity to work on the land, support our campground operations, and help care for the natural beauty of Point Grondine Park.

Our Park Guardians assist with seasonal maintenance, campground upkeep, customer engagement, and ensuring our visitors have a safe and memorable experience.

Community members and partners had the opportunity to connect with the lands at Point Grondine during Wiikwemkoong Camping Week. 🌿🏕️

The Child & Family Services Department were the first to experience our new Group Camping Sites through their Young Boys Camp, creating meaningful opportunities for youth to connect, learn, and grow on the land.
