I was out for a scout and seen 6 Tom’s and 6 Jake’s on a field edge and called a friend and he was here within 30 mins and we made a plan to skirt out around the backside of the field, 4-5 mins after the first call they all showed up and Robbie Brawn let out some apex ammunition TSS #7 and it was over. What a rush congratulations rob!

Turkey #3

It didn’t take long for this Tom to leave one field and come to our field once he seen the strutter decoy. A dead run to a full strut into 15 yards, a perfect shot was made and all smiles after that!
What a morning. 19.6 lbs, 8-12/16 beard with 7/8 spurs

Another great evening hunting and it did not take long this evening for Jill to figure out what she wanted to do when 3 jakes came to the decoys. They gave it an awful working over before she made a perfect 20 yard shot. It’s time for nuggets she said!

Turkey number #1

The morning began perfectly, with four beautiful Tom's approaching the decoy setup after a bit of coaxing, and following a display of strutters confronting my decoys, a well-placed shot brought down this magnificent Tom. What a great experience. Thank you, Nicole Robichaud Munn and Peter Arbeau, for entrusting us to locate your turkey this morning.

As the daylight starts to fade over the next few hours we will kick off our NB turkey season at daylight tomorrow. Good luck to all hunters and huntress out there.
