The ROC – Georgina’s Recreational Outdoor Campus is a multi-amenity facility with four-season, multi-generational recreational and adventure opportunities to meet the needs of a growing, diverse, and vibrant Georgina. The ROC offers a variety of year-round recreation and leisure activities, such as:
High Ropes Course, Rock Climbing, Ziplining
Walking Trails, Splash Pad, Bike Course, Soccer Fields

🚴 Pedal into summer with confidence!
Is your child ready to learn the basics of biking? Our Learn to Bike Basics program helps young riders build essential skills in a fun, encouraging environment.
Tuesdays, August 4 to 25
5:15 to 6:15 p.m.
Ages 3 to 7
Over four weeks, participants will practice:
✅ Balance and coordination
✅ Bike and helmet safety
✅ Starting and stopping
✅ Turning and riding over different terrain
Participants must bring their own bike and helmet. Training wheels are not permitted. A parent or guardian must attend each class and be able to assist their child while riding.

This summer, riders can build their mountain biking skills while discovering everything the ROC has to offer!
Pumps and Jumps – Mountain Biking
For ages 7 to 13
Tuesdays, August 4 to 25
6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
From the bike park to the trails, participants will improve their riding techniques, practice trail etiquette and gain confidence on every ride.
Riders must bring their own bike and wear a CSA-approved helmet.
Give your rider the chance to challenge themselves, make new friends and enjoy four weeks of mountain biking fun!
ROC Adventure Program is an exciting 3-week experience for kids ages 9–13!
Mondays, Aug. 10–24
5:15 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.
Each week, participants will take on a new challenge, including:
Rock Wall
Vertical Playground
Archery
Zipline
High Ropes
All equipment is provided, just bring your sense of adventure! Long hair must be tied back and closed-toe shoes are required.

Ready to ride?
Hit the trails at the ROC and take your mountain biking skills to the next level.
Pumps and Jumps is designed for riders ages 7 to 13 who want to build confidence while exploring the bike park and mountain bike trails. Participants will develop technical riding skills, improve trail etiquette and have fun on two wheels.

If you’re new to archery or ready to build on existing skills, our Archery Level 1 and Level 2 programs offer a fun and engaging way to learn. Participants will develop confidence, improve accuracy and practice proper technique through interactive games, drills and activities led by experienced instructors.
All equipment is provided.
Archery Level 1 (Ages 8 to 13)

Be part of the Town’s 2026 Cultural Festival at the ROC Chalet. Applications are open for cultural groups, performers, artists, food participants, small businesses and community organizations interested in participating. Applications close on Aug. 13, 2026. 📢
To kick off the Cultural Festival festivities, the rescheduled Canada Day fireworks will light up the sky on Friday, Sept. 18, at 8 p.m. Come out to the ROC from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for cultural activities, food, a DJ and family fun before the fireworks begin. 🎆
The celebration continues at the ROC Chalet on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 🎉
