Kenosee Lake Riding Academy

This is a small lake we ride along on our trail rides. Here we stopped to let the dogs cool off.

Out for a ride this evening and the horses were just checking the sign to make sure we were not getting lost.

Hot days mean the water trough is a popular spot.

Sure was a hot day today and it is looking like the same for most of a week. Guess summer is upon us. The horses came in this morning not looking their best !! As you can see this is Popeye.

Happy Canada Day to you Unfortunately the organizers of the parade cancelled. Thought it was too wet. With any luck the rain will stay away for a few days and we can get some trailrides in. Phone 306 577 2278 for more info and to make reservations.

Hello Everyone We have horses moved in for the summer !! Not sure if the weather will co-operate with us this weekend. Right now the trails are moist but not near as wet as we thought they might be, and the horses are looking good and ready for summer.

This is such a peaceful scene. The mare in the middle just had her baby this morning.
