Three days. One goal. Preparing for the 2027 Canada Winter Games.
Lake Superior Biathlon was the proud host for the June 2026 Canada Winter Games Biathlon Camp from June 26 to 28. Athletes from across the region came together for a weekend of focused training, technical development, and team building.
The camp featured roller ski training, shooting sessions, physical testing, race simulations, equipment preparation, and classroom discussions designed to prepare athletes for the pathway toward the 2027 Canada Winter Games.

The Biathlon Association of Manitoba, in partnership with Lake Superior Biathlon, is proud to host the 2026 CWG Biathlon Camp in Thunder Bay, Ontario, from June 26 to 28, 2026.
This high performance development camp brings together athletes, coaches, and support staff for three days of focused training, technical development, roller skiing, shooting practice, and athlete education as preparations continue toward the 2027 Canada Winter Games.
Athletes will benefit from expert coaching, collaborative learning opportunities, and a competitive training environment designed to support long term athlete development and performance excellence.

Meet Jesse Bachinsky, a determined athlete born with no central vision. By age 15, he was diagnosed with a degenerative eye disease that also took away his peripheral vision.
Guided by Levi Nadlersmith, Jesse has become a multi-medalist at the Canada Winter Games and has competed on the World Cup Circuit since 2017. 🇨🇦 At the Paralympic Winter Games, Jesse raced in the B1 category, where he was required to wear blackout goggles alongside his competitors. 🏅🏆

KNBC athletes are just arriving home from the weekend CCSAM spring training camp. There was literally wind, rain and fire but we survived! Thank you head coach Andrew Vanden Berg - great camp! Special mention to our own Coach Ang and Orienteering Manitoba volunteers for the awesome orienteering race Saturday night! Just when we didn’t think we could run anymore. So fun!!!
