The stated goal of this framework is to harmonize the regulation of chemical drugs and natural health products. However, this change is expected to devastate the natural health industry, leading to the loss of manufacturers, retailers, and products, stifled innovation, rising costs, and reduced access to natural health practitioners. ➡️ To implement this framework, Health Canada has introduced several smaller initiatives, all contributing to this larger goal. Examples include Sections 500-504 of Bill C-47, Cost Recovery, and Division 31 of Bill C-69. @ashleywulkan
