The 4 week pairs league wrapped up on Monday and the winners were Maria and Christina 🏆😄 Thank you to Corben for running the league and to everybody who played.
Next up is Aussie Pairs and we have 16 teams participating. It’ll be fun 🙂

The ILBA Novice Singles Tournament took place in Vernon yesterday. This is a tournament for bowlers with max 2 years experience and a great opportunity for new bowlers to compete against other new bowlers from different clubs.
We are happy to announce that our own KLBC member Scott won this tournament 🏆👏🏻

The Bonney Cup is held in Penticton every year and is a mixed pairs tournament. Kelowna was very well represented and KLBC did great 😊
The overall winners of the tournament were Tom and Christina 🏆 with Maria and Wayne in a close second place 🥈 👏🏻
Jim and Wendy finished 3rd in the B division, with Jim and Terry in 4th place.
Barb and Patrick finished 2nd in the C division.
Well done everybody 🤩🥳😃

Last weekend Vernon hosted the Canada Day Triples tournament 🇨🇦 We had a great representation from Kelowna, which was good to see 🤩
It was a tournament of surprises and in true lawn bowling style - an anything can happen on any given day kind of weekend. Unfortunately Kelowna didn’t win overall, but we had lots of great games on a fast green, which can be quite the challenge. The overall winner was Team Barry from Penticton. Well done 👏🏻

Have you ever wondered why Thursday nights at the Kelowna Lawn Bowling Club in city park look a little different? It’s the 5th year of Bowl Me Over and the costumes keep getting better. This year registration sold out in 4 minutes!! This Thursday, June 25th is the Finals, and we will see who takes home the prizes this year! Will Bowl Me secure the bag? Or will the Rick Rollers or Bowl Riders make their comeback? Best of luck to all the teams!

First Sunday Funday of the season 😃 Great turnout, great weather and a great game of “in the river” ☀️ Thank you all participants and organizers.

Today we held our Memorial Triples Tournament and what a beautiful day it was. Our club has lost 4 very important members in the last few years and this tournament is played in their honour 🥰. Janet, Walter, Scott and Al are all missed greatly and this tournament is a perfect opportunity for everybody to think about them and their loved ones.
We had some great games today, good food, fun and socializing 😁 At the end of the 4 games, the clear winners - being undefeated - were Richard, Sandy and Corben 🏆👏🏻

This year’s KLBC singles champion is Tom 👏🏻🥇 This one day tournament was held on the weekend and there were lots of great games. Tom came out victorious after an exciting game against Monica, who finished second 🥈. Patrick finished third 🥉
