Save August 22nd in your calendar for our annual fundraiser to support youth rugby, the Ensign Cup!
The Ensign Cup is in honour of Rusty Ensign. After an injury sustained representing the Crows left him a high-functioning quadriplegic in 1984, Rusty initiated what became the Ensign Cup, which has raised tens of thousands for spinal cord research, the Rick Hansen Foundation, and local youth rugby.
We’ll be hosting at Rutland Fields R2 (right beside the BMX track). The day starts at 11:30 am for a friendly family game of touch rugby; all are welcome to join! Followed by the under 30s vs over 30s game at 12:30 pm, which will determine the winner of this year’s Ensign Cup.
The beer garden will be open at 11am so come on out for a great day of rugby and join us in memory of Rusty! All proceeds from the beer garden will go towards youth rugby, which meant so much to him 💙❤️
