Let’s talk PIE. 🥧

One of the fun new additions to Gather: A Harvest Long Table Dinner will be our Pie Raffle—and we need your help filling the table!

Here’s how it works:

We’re asking members, barns, local businesses, bakeries and friends of KRC to donate a pie. It can be homemade, purchased from your favourite bakery, or you can simply donate $50 and we’ll arrange one for you.

At Gather, all of the pies will be displayed together and guests can purchase raffle tickets for the pies they’d most love to take home. At the end of the evening, we’ll draw a winner for each one!

Why pies? 🥧

Besides being the perfect addition to a harvest dinner, the Pie Raffle is a simple, fun way for lots of people to contribute without anyone having to give a lot. One pie might not seem like much—but a whole table of pies can raise meaningful funds.

And every dollar raised at Gather helps KRC build the capital needed to pursue matching grant funding for improvements to our Clubhouse and support a more sustainable future for the Club.

So…

Bake one. Buy one. Sponsor one.

Apple, pumpkin, pecan, chocolate, Okanagan fruit—or surprise us!

We know this is a challenging year for many local businesses and families, so we’re not asking everyone to give big—we’re asking our community to come together and give however they can.

Because no harvest gathering is complete without pie.

We’re looking for a photographer to help us capture Gather: A Harvest Long Table Dinner on Saturday, September 26, as well as some beautiful images of the Kelowna Riding Club itself. 🌿

In addition to capturing the people, details and atmosphere of Gather, we’d love to build a collection of professional photos showcasing the Clubhouse, grounds and equestrian facilities. These images will help us promote KRC, pursue new revenue opportunities, and support future grant applications and fundraising efforts.

As Gather is a fundraiser for the future of the Club, we’re hoping to find a local photographer who would be willing to donate their time in exchange for a complimentary ticket to Gather, including dinner, welcome cocktail, dessert and live music.

We’d also be happy to recognize and promote you as a Gather community partner.

Join us for a beautiful fall evening on the grounds of the Kelowna Riding Club as we come together for great food, live music, and community, all in support of the future of our Club.

The Club grounds will be transformed into a cozy, harvest-inspired setting with long tables, twinkling lights, autumn décor, and the perfect atmosphere for a fall evening in the Okanagan.

Your evening will include:
🍽️ A full harvest-inspired buffet dinner
🎶 Live music and entertainment
🍂 Games and festivities
🎟️ Raffles and a silent auction
✨ A cozy evening under the lights on the KRC grounds

Funds raised through Gather will support much-needed restorations and improvements to the Kelowna Riding Club as we work toward creating a more accessible, welcoming, and functional space for our equestrian community and the wider community to enjoy.

You don’t need to be a rider or KRC member to attend. Everyone is welcome!
