🏒 Optional Extra Conditioning Skate – Labour Day! 🏒

The Kanata Girls Hockey Association is offering an optional extra conditioning skate for House League players on Monday, September 7, 2026 at the Bell Sensplex – Myers Rink!

⏰ Skate Times:

U13: 5:00 PM
U15: 6:00 PM
U18: 7:00 PM

💰 Cost: $15 per player

A great opportunity to get some extra ice time, work on conditioning, and get ready for the season! 💪🏒

🟢 U7 – Registration remains OPEN!

🟡 U9, U11 & U13 – We've added a 5th team in each division! 🎉 That means a few more spots are available, but once they're gone, registration will CLOSE.

🔴 U15 – Player registration is SOLD OUT! The only remaining opening is for 1 goalie. If you're a goalie interested in playing, please email [email protected] or [email protected].

🔴 U18 – Only ONE player spot remains! Once it's filled, this division will be completely SOLD OUT.

🏒 U9 Pathways & Tryout Dates — 2026–27 Season 🏒

KGHA is excited to announce the U9 Pathway Skates and Tryout schedule for the upcoming 2026–27 season!

Dates run from August 24th through 31st, 2026.

Are you passionate about hockey and enjoy working with young athletes? We're looking for a positive, enthusiastic coach to help lead one of our U11 House League teams this season.

This is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact by developing players' skills, building confidence, and fostering a love of the game in a fun and supportive environment.

🚨 WANTED: HOUSE LEAGUE HOCKEY GOALIES (especially U15) 🚨

Does your child have a unique talent for voluntarily standing in front of frozen rubber projectiles?

Do they enjoy:
🥅 Talking to the posts?
🥅 Disagreeing with the referee, the defense, and occasionally physics?
🥅 Making 35 saves and then replaying the one goal against in their head for three straight days?
🥅 Treating every game like Game 5 of the Walter Cup?

Perfect.

We're looking for goalies to join our teams!

Goalie parents, this is your chance to:
✔️ Experience every shot as a personal emotional event
✔️ Learn that a breakaway causes your heart rate to triple
✔️ Become fluent in phrases like, "You played great" and "Forget that one goal"
✔️ Enjoy the occasional silent drive home after a 4-3 loss where everyone is staring out a different window

If your child is fearless, slightly eccentric, and loves being the last line of defense, we want to hear from you.

Because hockey teams need goalies... and goalie families are a special kind of wonderful. 🥅🏒
