Wow XC skiing at Easter!!
Tracks go up to ski hill shelter, over to Moose Lake and back via Seargent.
Temps are cool overnight and not too warm. Best skiing in the morning and also helps preserve the trails!

Golf course and firetower trails are groomed for the weekend. Possibility of the Park grooming the east side Monday

Great to see skiers enjoying the trails. I know some of you intended to get a membership but didn’t get around to it. It’s not too late! 😉 Membership numbers is how grant money is allocated. This helps to maintain trails, shelters, equipment etc. if you belong to another club you don’t have to pay the insurance twice.

BIG fluffy snow fall, hopefully get the east side trails groomed tomorrow 😃
Just back from a couple hours of track setting. Firetower, Woodchuck and Golf Course were track set. I didn’t roll I didn’t roll the trails. Some big drifts. I had a little whoops on #10 but I fixed it up.

Spring Cross Country Skiing!
Fresh tracks on Rundle Firetower and the Golf Course!!
Some challenging weather ahead for grooming. You can’t groom effectively at or above 0C which is what we’re up for the next two days. The freezing rain won’t help either. Hopefully we can get the Golf Course, Firetower and Rundle groomed on Friday. Of course snow/rain in the forecast for Friday night. 😔
