Kamloops Ultimate League

We had a great turnout for the annual Great Canadian Ultimate Game! 🍁 We raised over $190 for the Art Hawkins Fund. Thank you to everyone who came out, donated, and helped with the BBQ!

Monday is a great day to raise money for the Art Hawkins Fund (and their grants) and to promote Ultimate!

We will play a Red vs. White game starting at 6:30 at the Rugby fields, with the BBQ starting shortly before. 🍔

Cash donations are encouraged!

*Please note the time change to 6:30 from previous league nights (6:00). All Monday Summer league nights will now begin at 6:30.

Some important deadlines are approaching for Big Thirst! Get those players registered and we’ll see everyone on June 26-28! ☀️

There they are! 3 of Kamloops’ Ultimate’s favourite high school players! This must have 6 or 7 years ago. We drove past Mt Robson to Edmonton to play in Junior Nationals. Savage Ben moving into nursing, Alex Marshall now in healthcare and Leah, engineering. Our League mission should actually be Building the Next Generation of Great Leaders because it’s what team sport involvement does.

Here’s an update from the Zone 2 coaches: Hi all!

BC Summer Games Zone 2 tryouts are coming up in about 3 weeks.

When registering, you have to register for each date that you will be attending. It’s recommended to try to make at least 2 of the 3. There is also a small BC Ultimate/Ultimate Canada membership fee for insurance purposes. This is a once per year fee so if you’ve paid already for another event this year, you don’t have to pay again.

The BC Summer Games are July 22-26 in Kelowna this summer. This team would be representing Zone 2 (Kamloops, Kelowna, Penticton, etc) and competing against other zones.

This is open to anyone in this year’s Grades 7-9 age groups. 7 female matching players and 7 male matching players will be selected.
