πŸ…πŸš£β€β™€οΈ What an amazing Olympic Day! πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸŽ‰

What a day! Our Canoe Kids had an incredible time celebrating Olympic Day with races, games, paddling, laughter and lots of smiles! β˜€οΈ

Our young paddlers gave it their all in our fun prize races and walked away with some awesome rewards β€” including ribbons, water bottles, hats and bracelets! πŸ†πŸŽ–οΈπŸ’¦πŸ§’

But the best prize of all was seeing so many kids having fun on the water, cheering each other on, trying new things and creating great summer memories together. ❀️

A huge thank you to all of our Canoe Kids, families, staff and volunteers who helped make the day so special!

This is what summer at the Kamloops Canoe & Kayak Club is all about! πŸš£β€β™‚οΈβ˜€οΈπŸ’™

❀️ BC SUMMER GAMES 2026 – WHAT AN INCREDIBLE JOURNEY!❀️

As the BC Summer Games come to a close, we couldn’t be prouder of our Zone 2 paddlers. Over the past few days, our athletes competed with determination, courage, and resilience, earning outstanding results on the water.

More importantly, they represented everything the BC Summer Games stand for. They competed with integrity, demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship, embraced the spirit of fair play, and treated fellow competitors, officials, coaches, and volunteers with respect. They celebrated victories with humility, faced challenges with confidence, and created memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Medals are a wonderful reward for hard work, but the character these athletes displayed throughout the Games is something to be even more proud of.
