Summer sessions are going off! KLC is rolling downhill. Helped a service dog with some training too!
Keep an eye on our socials for session info. Smoke and heat has made it tough to run a consistent schedule.
This Sunday we are aiming for the longboard park in the early evening and pumptrack in the later evening.
Downhill sessions on Thursday at 7pm!
We will post an update on Sunday!
The spring/summer sessions schedule is ready for release!
The last many years we have had session master to thank for anchoring these times and dates to keep the lessons rolling. Another year coming at you with his commitment! Skating from Ben P at the 10th annual bday bash
This year and in partnership with we will meet for cruises at Mac Island at 5pm (meet at the skatepark or its parking lot) on the first and third Tuesday’s of the month.
The fourth Tuesday of the month we will be at the longboard park at 5pm. Tighten those helmets up and see you soon!
Sessions start off on May 5th at Mac Isle.

We want to wish everyone a happy spring skate season!
With reports from our members that the longboard park is open, river trails are skate worthy, the first bus run of the year was happening last week and the S.O.S session another success, the 2026 skate season is happening now!!!!
Tighten your nuts, check your wheels and get your helmet out!

What started as a local jam has become one of Canada’s longest-running downhill longboard gatherings - the Kamloops Longboard Park Birthday Bash.
Every year riders from across BC meet at the hill for a full day of speed, lines, and laughs.
Presented by Parklek, with support from Tourism Kamloops, B-100, and 98.3 CIFM - keeping the stoke alive and the wheels rolling.
This year’s Bash delivered everything we love about downhill: pack runs, clean corners, sketchy saves, and community energy that keeps the Kamloops Longboard Park alive.
Riders took home gear and prize packs, celebrating another incredible year of longboarding in the heart of BC.

We at the would like to thank everyone who came out and put in efforts for our 11th annual Birthday Bash of the worlds only downhill longboard park. It was rainy and windy in the beginning and then the park dried out for a perfect afternoon. Another successful year! All skill levels and ages were present and shredding both runs! We rode, we shivered, we shredded….we also talked of doing this event at the end of Sept for more consistent sunny n warmer weather. PM us with thoughts and ideas for the parks future! Support your local skate communities!

We would love to welcome everyone to the 11th annual Kamloops Longboard Park’s celebratory birthday bash! From top to bottom of the project this is the worlds only dedicated longboard park! We will be meeting in Oct 11th at 930am to 4pm with a half hour on either side for setup and tear down. Several mini events will be on going thru out the day or freeride all day. We at KLC are stoked to have you for the 11th year of the parks existence! Please contact us with any question or concerns!
