See you next spring folks. Please respect our privacy as we start this recovery process and refrain from visiting Jasper as a tourist for the time being.
We are thankful to announce that Jasper National Park and the town of Jasper are beginning to reopen for residents and businesses after the recent wildfire evacuation. This is a significant step toward recovery and we deeply appreciate the strength and resilience of our community during this challenging time.
We are focused on ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents as they return home and we kindly ask that visitors wait a little longer before returning to Jasper. Our priority right now is to support the recovery efforts and give our community the time and space they need to heal and rebuild.
We look forward to welcoming you back when our residents and businesses are ready. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Together, weβll come back stronger than ever.

Starting today, Parks Canada fire crews will be conducting a bucket water training exercise. π
You may see helicopters in the sky and observe fire suppression training activities. This exercise is a proactive measure to ensure wildfire preparedness.
There are currently NO active wildfires in Jasper National Park.
Bucketing is a fire suppression technique that targets hotspots to prevent the spread of wildfires. It is part of broader strategic approaches to manage wildfire risks.
A fire ban is now in place in Jasper National Park and the Jasper Municipality until further notice to prevent human-caused wildfires. https://ow.ly/EY6b50SBInZ
Report any wildfires, illegal campfires, or suspicious smoke to Parks Canada Dispatch at 780-852-6155 or call 911.
