We are beyond excited to welcome Ryan Morrissette to our 2026 Summer Intensive! 💜

Ryan will be joining us August 25–27 and bringing some serious energy to our dancers in HIP HOP! 🔥

Ryan Morrissette is a professional hip hop choreographer and educator with 16 years of teaching experience and an incredible career spanning television, film, live performance, and competitive dance.

A multiple world title-winning artist, Ryan’s performance credits include Canada’s Got Talent, the 2010 Winter Olympic Closing Ceremonies, and performances alongside Shaq, Shawn Desman, and Carly Rae Jepsen.

Known for his high-level choreography, strong musicality, and performance-driven teaching, Ryan brings elite industry experience and a dynamic, polished approach to every class, workshop, and intensive.

We are SO excited to have Ryan joining us in Humboldt and cannot wait for our dancers to experience his classes! 🙌🔥

✨ SUMMER INTENSIVE INSTRUCTOR ANNOUNCEMENT ✨

We are so excited to welcome Austin Mayor to our 2026 Summer Intensive! 💜

Austin will be joining us August 25–27 and sharing his talent and experience with our dancers in JAZZ & CONTEMPORARY! 🔥

Austin began his dance journey at Angela’s Dance Academy in Strasbourg, Saskatchewan at just five years old, training extensively in jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, ballet, and baton twirling. He began assisting in 2011 and became a full-time instructor in 2014. Since then, his work as a choreographer has earned numerous choreography awards.

His training and performance experience has taken him across North America, including Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York, Calgary, and Edmonton. He has trained at renowned studios including Harbour Dance Centre, EDGE Performing Arts Centre, Broadway Dance Center, and Steps on Broadway, learning from some of the industry’s leading choreographers.

Austin’s performance credits include touring with Saskatchewan Express, performing at the Carnival Choreographers Ball in Los Angeles, performing on a Broadway stage in New York, and multiple performances and parades at Disneyland. ✨

From 2021–2023, Austin lived in Vancouver while training and performing with The Source Dance Company, followed by training with TwoFourSeven in 2023/24. He has also toured with 5678 Showtime and most recently brought his experience home to Saskatchewan, where he founded his own dance company, District North.

We can’t wait for our dancers to learn, grow, and be inspired by Austin this summer! 💜

We are so excited to welcome Tara Schwartzenberger to our 2026 Summer Intensive! 💜

Tara will be joining us August 25–27 and bringing her energy and experience to our dancers in TAP & MUSICAL THEATRE! 🎭👞

Tara began dancing at the age of four, training in a variety of disciplines and developing a love for all genres — with tap always holding a special place in her heart.

She began teaching in 2011 at just 16 years old and is now heading into her 16th season of teaching! Throughout her dance journey, Tara has trained at studios across Saskatchewan and worked with many talented teachers and choreographers.

Her training includes Acrobatic Arts Preschool & Module One, Progressive Ballet Technique, A.D.A.P.T. examinations, and Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) examinations. She continues to further her training and education each year, bringing that knowledge and passion back to her students.

Tara feels incredibly fortunate to have turned her lifelong love of dance into a career and loves having the opportunity to share that passion with the next generation. 💜

We can't wait for our dancers to learn from Tara this summer!
