The Tuesday after a long weekend šŸ’Ŗ

And a quick reminder that it’s ok to not be 10/10 perfect with your normal workout routine and diet. You don’t need a Monday/new month/new year to get back on track, just start now. Your next meal & your next workout are the perfect time to get back to it. And don’t forget to keep your brief hiatus guilt-free, because these sunny hot days are only here for so long! The squats and protein will be here waiting for you ;)

Sue has officially joined the club! Joining the 250 class club has of course come with a lot of hard work, dedication, and pushing through comfort zones. Sue’s a staple in our early morning 545am & 6am classes and sets her day up for success by scheduling her workouts as non-negotiable commitments to herself!

Sue is super focused in class & extremely dedicated. She makes her scheduled-in workouts happen, no matter what… even if that means choosing your Icon class over driving your husband to the airport so he can catch his flight (we’re sorry, husband!).

We’re proud to see you hit your 250th Sue, don’t slow down now! Please continue to bring the fun to our early mornings and keep us smiling with your bright & sunny energy šŸ’–

Have a question? Come see us in-studio. Take note that our open hours are a little unconventional. We’re there whenever classes are running, and closed for a little breather when they’re not. This means that we’re closed in the afternoons, and Fri-Sun evenings. Need to get in touch? You can shoot us a message through our social media accounts or email [email protected]

What’s the best calorie-burning, muscle-sculpting, goal-achieving workout you can do?? Stop the scroll, we’ve got the answer.

It’s the workout you want to do, even when you don’t want to do it.

This probably isn’t the hot gossip/secret to *losing 15 pounds by September* answer you wanted to hear, but it’s the truth. Consistent ā€œnot my best but I still showed up for the classā€ workouts beat a once in a while 15/10 effort Every. Single. Time.

Prioritize your diet (what works for your body, not what Instagram is trying to convince you to do), lift some heavy weights, sprinkle in some low intensity days with Reformer, Pilates, Recovery…. whatever it is, just keep going.

We know that variety helps kill boredom, so we keep our schedule stocked with 7 different workout styles, all under one membership. One workout for every day of the week, and every mood that may hit you. We made it an Icon thing ;)

Wondering which footwear choice is best for your class?

šŸ‘ŸClean indoor runners:
Best for: Functional Training & Power Circuit classes
Also good for: Rebound, Pilates Power, Recovery
Avoid in: Reformer & Athletic Reformer

🧦 Grip socks
Best for: Reformer & Athletic Reformer classes
Also good for: Rebound, Pilates Power, Recovery
Avoid in: Functional Training & Power Circuit

Insider tip: Try both runners & grip socks in Rebound, Pilates Power, Recovery. Grip socks provide less stability and make your foot and ankle work a little more to keep you balanced. Runners provide the cushioning and support our bodies sometimes need. Try both and find what works best for you!

POV: you’re 80 years old & still down on the floor playing with your grandkids. All because you chose to show up for classes today, in your 20s/30s/40s/50s/60s.

We realized a long time ago it wasn’t about feeding the ego, but about feeding what our future selves needed.

Lift heavy things & Have an Icon Day ;)

She’s officially made it: Welcome to 250, Brianne! Huge accomplishment, right? Brianne made it here in only 418 days (that’s a consistent 4-5 classes every week for over an entire year!). We’ve all loved cheering her on and watching her get stronger than strong!

This girl knows how to make it happen. Brianne’s daily workout isn’t at her convenience: she’s showing up at all hours of the day to put the work in. We get to see her most days of the week. 9am? Check. 7pm? Done & Dusted. Brianne’s the definition of ā€˜make it happen’! Next up: we’re watching her bust her butt to 500 classes!

Brianne, we’ve been lucky to have a front row seat to watch you constantly push yourself & level up, even on the hard days. You’ve inspired a lot of people. Please don’t stop šŸ’–
