Tucker, Kansas, and I couldn’t do 10 days of the Calgary Stampede without our equine team. They give so much care to our Stampede Princes, 365 days a year. Grand entries, parades, coaching - all of it. And a massive amount of support to me. It’s a small miracle what they pull off. Also a miracle - getting so many of them on camera. 😉 Thank you so much 😊.

Such an amazing crew to have at the barn. It’s an honour to be a part of it all.

There’s a part of this role that often goes unseen, but it’s one of the most important pieces — it’s where my horses and I call “home.”

Behind every picture perfect moment are countless rides. Not just from me, but from the entire equine volunteer team. Farrier visits, vet and bodywork appointments, and so much time spent preparing the horses for parades and rodeos.

Last week, I got to invite the whole CS Princess squad, whether they’re directly involved in the equine aspect or not, to Melody Ranch, where the magic happens.

Getting to share this part of my role with so many important people meant so much to me. My family, the Royalty Committee, and the amazing team who care for our horses every single day.

The barn is my happy place and Melody Ranch takes such exceptional care of everyone on the Royalty Committee. Two legged and four legged alike 😉 🐴

Yep, we sure did throw a retirement party for a horse. 🙌
