We are happy to tell everyone Council voted today NOT to sell John Blumberg Golf Course. Thank you to everyone who helped us save the course and our green space!

Winnipeg's property and planning committee votes against sale of John Blumberg Golf Course | CBC News There are still about three months until Winnipeg and area golfers get back into the swing of things on city-owned courses, but the future of one of those courses was discussed during a committee meeting Monday afternoon.

Has John Blumberg been sold?

NO. NO. NO.

The city is in the first stage of attempting to sell it. The proposal you hear of must go to an EPC meeting. If that committee decides it should be sold.....it then will go to city council for a vote to sell. City council need to vote 67% in favor of selling. This is not likely (we hope).
