Hare Bay Recreation will be hosting an Aloha Party for everyone 55+! 🎉

Come along, bring your friends, and enjoy an evening filled with lots of fun, Aloha games, laughter, and delicious snacks! 🌺🍍🎶

It’s a great opportunity to get together, have some fun, and enjoy the Aloha spirit with friends and neighbours! 💕🌴

We hope to see you there for lots of fun, laughs and games🌺

🏕️ Hare Bay Recreation Fundraiser 🏕️

Hare Bay Recreation is excited to announce our Camping Basket Fundraiser with a prize valued at $430.00!

All proceeds from this fundraiser will help support the cost of the recreational programs and activities we offer for people of all ages in our community. Your support allows us to continue providing fun, inclusive, and affordable programs for everyone.

Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00 and can be purchased at the Recreation Office or Town Hall, Hare Bay. You can also purchase tickets by EMT to [email protected] or pay by cash.

The draw date will be Friday, September 4th at noon, just in time for the long weekend.

The EMT cutoff will be Thursday, September 3rd, 6 pm to insure all those who have EMT the tickets are filled out.

Thank You to Our Summer Workers! 🌞💚

As another summer comes to an end, Hare Bay Recreation would like to send out a BIG THANK YOU to our amazing summer workers! We would like to recognize each and every one of you:

Keelyn Collins, Alex Hunt, Kaleb Green, Abigail Collins, Chloe Ennis, Cianne Glover, Hailey Collins, Caitlin Button, Jordan West, Landon Collins, Miranda Collins and Sara Saunders. 👏

When they started their first week, we were only a few days away from the start of our Annual Squid Festival. You all worked extremely hard to have the areas throughout our town ready for our events, and you did a phenomenal job with all the preparations! 🦑🎉

Throughout the summer, you showed up ready to work and tackle whatever jobs came your way. Your hard work, positive attitudes and dedication certainly did not go unnoticed. We truly appreciate everything you have done for Hare Bay Recreation and our community.

Our summer workers spent a lot of time maintaining our beautiful Municipal Park, and you did an outstanding job keeping it looking its best. 🌳☀️

We also had an awesome group of Kids Program Leaders who brought so much fun, energy and excitement to our summer program. The children who attended certainly enjoyed the activities, games and memories you helped create. ❤️

One last thing we would like to say is that you all represented Hare Bay Recreation extremely well, and we are very proud of each and every one of you!

We hope you take with you some great memories, new skills and experiences from your summer with Hare Bay Recreation. We wish you all the very best in your future endeavours and hope you know just how much your hard work and contributions were appreciated.

☀️💙 Kids Summer Program – A Wonderful Summer! 💙☀️

What an amazing summer it has been! We were so happy to celebrate the end of our Kids Summer Program with our closing party. 🎉

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the wonderful children who took part in our program. We hope you had lots of fun, made new friends, learned new things, and created memories that you will carry with you for years to come! 🥰

A very special thank you to our amazing program leaders for all of their hard work, dedication, patience, and enthusiasm throughout the summer. Your time and effort helped make this program such a success, and we truly appreciate everything you did for our kids. ❤️

We would also like to thank all of the parents and families for their support and for allowing us to be a part of your children’s summer.

Hare Bay Parks and Recreation would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who supported our Car Wash this past weekend! 🚗🧽

It was a very successful day, and we truly appreciate everyone who came out, made a donation, purchased food, volunteered, or helped in any way. Your support means so much to us and to our community! ❤️

The money raised from the car wash will help support the programs and events we offer for all ages in our community.
