Shake off the summer rust and kick off the curling season at our Vic Rust Shaker Opener Bonspiel on Saturday, September 19! Gather your team for a fun-filled day featuring 2 games of curling, trivia, off-ice games, and cash prizes, with draw times available at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.. Your entry includes a light cold breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so you'll be fueled for a full day of competition and fun. Registration is $240 per team (team entries only), making it the perfect opportunity to reconnect with teammates, meet other curlers, and start the season on a high note. If you'll be new to the Vic in the 2026-2027 season, registration will open on August 1 (including for Learn to Curl).

Team Ontario is coming to visit the Hamilton Victoria Curling Club on March 31, 2026, from 7:00-9:00pm. In addition to a photo opportunity, we are also giving members a chance to actually play against the team. More details are available at the bar. You do not want to miss this unique opportunity! A total of 8 people will win the opportunity to play 2 ends against Team King.

Spread the news! We are excited to announce our TRY CURLING event on Feb 14, 2026 from 9am-1pm, part of the Hamilton Winterfest activities. This FREE event is open to anyone, with children under 12 encouraged to bring a standard or hockey helmet to wear on the ice. Please register you or your group online by picking your start time preference on our website. Registration closes on Feb 13, 2026 at 11:59pm or when all the timeslots fill. We look forward to seeing the next wave of curlers on our ice for this awesome event!

We are full swing into bonspiel season and one of our upcoming spiels is still looking for registrants. Women Who Rock- a fun spiel for women, trans, and non-binary members is happening on February 21st, 2026. We are looking for members with all skill levels who want to rock out and have fun; sign up as an individual and balanced teams will be made

This spiel will be two games (one 8 end and one 6 end) and two draws (9am and 11:15) with a hot lunch in the middle. Cash prizes for top teams in each draw and some other fun games throughout the day.

Have a favourite female athlete? Know lots about sports? Dress as your favourite star and win prizes for best costumes! Play our team trivia and flex your brain in addition to your curling muscles for even more prizes.

Due to the weather and road conditions, the curling club will be closed for the 10:00 AM draw today. At this time, we plan to remain open for the 1:00 PM draw. However, if conditions do not improve, we will send out another post with an update.

A huge thank-you to everyone who came out for the 4th annual Rec League Try Spiel on November 15th. It was a full day of fun games, good curling, and new friends made on (and off) the ice.

Congratulations to Team Mescal: Kevin, Graeme Luke, Hannah Brooks, and Glenn Gibney. They took home the win, with Kevin successfully defending his title as the reigning Try Spiel champion!

Calling all Blue Jays fans! We will be doing a watch party this Saturday at the club, showing Blue Jays vs Dodgers Game 2. Doors open 7pm until the end of the game. No fee to attend.

We will be showing the game on a projector.

Mark your calendars for October 25, 2025 for a new event: Curse of the House Mini-Bonspiel. Participants can take part in one 6-end game with a little twist. At the conclusion of each end, players will reveal the scoring scheme for that end. Will you reveal a trick or a treat? Following the game enjoy a catered dinner and costume party. Registration will open on Wednesday, October 1 on our website.
Individual sign ups, members only, any skill level.
Tickets for dinner & party only are also available. Non-members are welcome to join for dinner.
Costumes are highly encouraged.
